Our semi-independent homes are staffed 24 hours a day by a member of our highly trained staff who build strong professional relationships with the young people. The level of support is increased or decreased as required, in consultation with the placing authority, to meet individual needs — including young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities who may require 1:1 support 24 hours a day.
Our staff team assesses and documents every aspect of the young person's daily living to establish their level of independence and the areas that need support to develop. Weekly key-working sessions help young people build skills where they need extra support, until a safe level of independence is achieved and they can be supported in the transition to their own home.
